Emerging World Group (Overseas Distributor of PRAN-RFL Group)

Project Objective: Emerging World Group, the distributors of PRAN Foods, is one of the fastest growing FMCG distribution company of the UAE. Based in Ajman, the company distributes some of the most favorite brands of the consumers but struggled to drive sales and command a sizable market share in the market.

About PRAN Foods & Emerging World Group

Medialinks has also had the opportunity to work with a prestigious company that is based in Ajman, UAE. Emerging World Group is a rapidly growing FMCG distribution company based in Ajman, UAE. The company is the overseas distribution partner of PRAN Foods, one of the world’s biggest FMCG brand. 

The Scope

Medialinks was tasked with handling Emerging World Group’s complete digital marketing efforts, which included creating a new website, working with influencers, managing digital marketing campaigns, marketplace management, and continuously improving the online presence of PRAN Foods’ various SKUs. The project was one which needed effort and concentration to be put on it both of which our team was ready to deliver.

The Problem

One of the key challenges that Medialinks faced was creating a website that effectively showcased Emerging World Group’s diverse product offerings and highlighted their key differentiators in the highly competitive FMCG industry. Without this the company would not have been able to attract a larger client base towards them. The team knew that the website needed to be both attractive and easy to navigate, with a strong focus on search engine optimization to attract new customers. The website is a very important part of the company which would also give a certain impression of it to potential clients encouraging them to not do or do business with them.

Research  & Analysis

To achieve this, the Medialinks team started by conducting in-depth research on Emerging World Group’s target audience and competitors. We needed to know all about the company if we were to deliver what they were looking for. This helped Medialinks to understand the needs and preferences of the target audience, as well as identify areas where the company could stand out from its competitors. With this research Medialinks was able to focus on the important areas that needed improvement which would help the company out.

The website was designed with a clean and modern layout, showcasing the company’s products and services in an easy-to-understand manner. A website like this is an easy to use one. Our team only used the latest technology in creating the most responsive and simple to use website. The website included a variety of features such as a product catalog, news and events section, and a section dedicated to the company’s key management team. The website was also optimized for search engines to ensure that it would rank well in search results. It was our aim to try and get more people to know about the company and end up buying from it.

Influencers

We realized that it was important to work with people who would help the company be known to more people. The team therefore worked with influencers to create a buzz around the company’s products and services, and they managed digital marketing campaigns across various platforms to reach the target audience. We managed to specifically execute a mega influencers campaign for their newly launched brand, PRAN Cup Noodles, which took the market by storm and gained 20% market share in a few months challenging existing brands, Koka and Indomie.

Marketplace Management

Marketplace management including Amazon, Noon & Carrefour was done by the team to improve the sales. Our team of experts was able to create this effective plan after having carefully looked at what the company stands for and what they are aiming to provide.

One of the key successes of the project was the consistent improvement of the presence of the various SKUs of PRAN Foods in the online space.
