As per the latest update from noon.com, we would like to remind you of the importance of providing our customers with a great shopping experience and helping businesses thrive. To achieve this, it is crucial to adhere to the seller policies defined by noon. Any non-adherence to these policies can lead to serious repercussions on your part.
Any attempts to list counterfeit, used and/or preactivated products will be seen as violation of noon’s terms and conditions. Selling fake items of brands without their authorization comes under Intellectual Property infringement and is a violation of someone’s exclusive rights to their original creations. Intellectual Property (IP) includes copyrights, trademarks, patents and other proprietary rights.
In either case, it is your responsibility as a noon seller to ensure your product listings do not result in any such violations. noon as a platform has zero tolerance towards such acts and reserves the right to take appropriate action against your account.
The actions may include, but are not limited to delisting of your offers, temporary or permanent revocation of your selling privileges, reporting to government authorities and initiating legal action, levying a minimum monetary penalty of AED/SAR 200,000 or EGP 1,600,000 and/or any other amount depending on the nature and impact of the violation including recovery of legal expenses, customer compensations among others.
