Prep Guidelines

Good day to you!

A successful Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) shipment begins with a proper product preparation and packaging. For your shipments to arrive safely in our fulfillment centers and allow our associates to receive your shipments in a timely manner, we have prepared the below guidelines for packaging your shipments . These are also available in the help pages found in your account in Seller Central.

A. PACKAGING REQUIREMENTS:

• Prepare your shipments by properly packaging and labelling them

• Follow the instructions for the required packing materials and packaging shipments. See Packaging Requirements. Following the packaging guidelines ensures safe transit and delivery of the shipments to our fulfillment centers.

B. HOW TO PACK YOUR SHIPMENTS:

• Individually packed boxes – Contain one or more products of varying quantities or condition.

• Case-Packed Items – Contain units with a single matching SKU and condition. Each box contains equal quantities of that SKU.

• Follow appropriate preparation requirement following Labelling & Packing Guidelines when preparing products for dispatch to Amazon fulfillment centers.

• Instructions for proper packing should be followed as here Packing Procedure

• For case-packed items, ensure that all items are the same in one box and remove or cover any scannable barcodes on the case. Only the units within the case can have scannable barcodes.

• Apply shipment labels that should be easy to scan when shipments arrive at the Fulfillment Center Applying Shipment Labels

C. FC SHIPMENT DELIVERY:

• Remember to follow guidelines related to vehicle condition, instructions for drivers and handlers, proper vehicle loading, validating shipment contents, and identifying dock compatibility which are provided in the Shipment Guidelines

• Arrive at the fulfillment center a minimum of 15 to 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment time.

• Pack items in a way that require no additional over boxing or preparation from Amazon

• Sufficient manpower should be available with the truck for unloading support.
